Brushy Hill
Trophy Bowhunting: is an archer's dream hunting
ground for South Texas whitetail deer, hogs, turkey, quail and
dove. As one of Texas' largest bow-only hunting ranches since
1995, Brushy Hill Ranch is located 4 miles south of Sabinal in
the South Zone of Uvalde County (a three-buck county) and
consists of appoximately 12,500 acres of bow hunting ground. The
ranch has an abundance of water sources, including numerous tanks
and troughs, the Sabinal River, and several creeks. Bow hunters
have harvested 150- and 160-class Pope & Young bucks, and

I don't know where this fella was from, but sure sounded like
he had a hard time of it.
His story started out like how bad Texas was and how he thought
'Texas was a whole 'nother country'.
Well, we that live here, like it and we THINK IT REALLY is
another country.
