As one of Texas' largest bow-only hunting ranches since 1995, Brushy Hill Ranch is located 4 miles south of Sabinal in the South Zone of Uvalde County (a three-buck county) and consists of appoximately 12,500 acres of bow hunting ground. The ranch has an abundance of water sources, including numerous tanks and troughs, the Sabinal River, and several creeks. The ranch is covered with typical South Texas high-protein shrubs that encourage horn-growth and ultimately produce trophy whitetail bucks. Bow hunters have harvested 150- and 160-class Pope & Young bucks, and numerous deer scoring in the 140s and 130s. Approximately 50 miles of ranch roads are grained daily year round, and there are over 60 working deer feeders on the ranch. The terrain varies from high Guajillo hills, to mesquite flats, to heavily wooded river and creek bottoms. Hunts are a 2-day minimum and include lodging. No kill fees applied except on bucks under a 14" inside spread. Brushy Hill Trophy Bow Hunting Ranch daily per person rates: Deer hunting: $140-$150 (includes hogs, predators and exotics), Hog hunting: $80 (includes predators and exotics), Turkey hunting: $100 (includes predators and exotics).
