Sabinal, Texas is the Southwestern Gateway
to the Texas Hill Country

We have clean air and clean rivers: the Nueces, Frio and Sabinal. Wildlife is abundant. Uvalde County is famous for bird watching. We are surrounded by the best hunting in Texas.
Vacationers flock to Garner State Park, Lost Maples and the Concan-Frio River recreation area. Probably 50% travel through Sabinal.

 •Wild Hog Festival Annual event held in March. Approximately 6,000 to 8,000 attend. What a HOOT! Don't miss it! Games, rides, arts and craft vendors and food! Sabinal City Park.

 • Market Trail Day. First Saturday each month. Downtown Sabinal and on Hwy 90.

 •Sunset Bat Flights 830-966-2320, FM Road 2690, 4.5 miles from the intersection of Highways 83 & 127.

 • Utopia Ranch Rodeo and live band. Dance under the stars. Annual event in May.

 • Sabinal Home Coming held every 3 years. October 10, 2009. Parade theme "Countries of the World". After parade Sabinal PTO will sponsor a Hoedown at City park and activities for children. For details, call 830-591-0785.

 • Utopia, TX: Music will fill the hills!! The Four Sisters Ranch, now owned by fifth generation members of the Fisher family, will host 10 bands. The Four Sisters Ranch is located North of Utopia up 187, then 4 miles west of Highway 187 or 6 miles northwest of Utopia. Utopiafest 512.496.2798. HEAR MUSIC and buy tickets.
